Nad tym skrawkiem ziemi wąskim i straconym otworzyło się raz jeszcze niebo głębsze i rozleglejsze niż gdzie indziej, niebo ogromne, jak kopuła, wielopiętrowe i chłonące, pełne niedokończonych fresków i improwizacyj, lecących draperyj i gwałtownych wniebowstąpień

This experiment was performed to prove that a living organism could survive being launched into orbit and continue to function under conditions of weakened gravity. In fact Laika died within hours from overheating and the true cause and time of her death were not made public until 2002
